And I’m not talking about Nelly and Kelly!!

Well kids, todays topic is media sharing! And by that, I mean pictures and video. My problem is too many services and which ones to choose!

So far I’m sharing pictures on:

TwitPic

TwitXr

Twitgoo

Flickr

S-Endz.com

and I’m sharing video on:

TwitVid

12seconds.tv

So, clearly I need to pick one of each and stick with it. Video is fairly simple – TwitVid is gonna be the winner – I like their service, I have a great app for uploading to TwitVid from my phone, and quite frankly the 12 second limit of 12seconds.tv feels a bit too restricting.

If only there was a widget/badge for TwitVid though. If you look to the right column on the main page of my blog, you’ll see a very cool 12seconds widget. It plays the videos right there and you can skip through them easily. I need one of those for TwitVid dammit! But there doesn’t appear to be one as of yet

Now, moving on to pictures. Well, TwitPic is out of the question. Why? Because Twitgoo does exactly the same thing but better IMO. As you can see from clicking on those links, I’ve been using Twitgoo a fair amount recently and I haven’t used TwitPic in ages. But again – there doesn’t appear to be any Twitgoo widgets yet. LAME.

My experiments with photoblogging direct to this site have been fairly annoying, so I’m abandoning that plan. Plus I can’t track the stats as easily. TwitXr, I actually prefer in some ways to all the others. However, it has it’s own login system, so unlike Twitgoo and Twitpic where you login with your Twitter accounts, it requires potential photo commentors to register a new account. That sucks, but what it offers that the others don’t is direct upload sync to Flickr and Facebook as well as Twitter. So if I upload a pic using TwitXr, it automatically also uploads to Flickr and Facebook too. Plus I have a cool TwitXr widget on this site already.

So what does this all boil down to? Twitgoo for pictures. Twitvid for video. SOMEONE HURRY UP AND MAKE SOME COOL ASS WIDGETS FOR BOTH OF THEM ALREADY. If any of y’all see a cool Twitgoo or Twitvid widget, holla atcha boy.

Me and Sups in grungier days, chillin before tearing up the stage at RISE Festival in London, back in 2006.

Last week, myself, Liana and Bobby P hit up Aura in Mayfair, London for the media launch for the 2009 UK AMA’s which are to be held in March. Check out some cool shots below.

Of course, I had other motives to be in London too….. Keep your eyes peeled for some exclusive news of what we’ve really been up to……coming soon.

This picture was taken at the Lille 3000 Festival in France, back in December 2006, it was an amazing show and we performed ‘Electro Jugni’ live for the first time at that show. That festival was also notable for another picture – the one that’s on the back cover of our album ‘Equalize’ was also taken there, and the way we looked at that show was the basis for the four faces of us that form the front cover to the album.

This picture comes from our tour of India back in 2005 during which we did a sick performance at the MTV Style Awards in Mumbai. We performed a medley of ‘DesiRock’ and ‘DesiRock Part II’ at the main event. There was a catwalk in the middle of the stage with hot models strutting their stuff up and down while we performed. We performed at the afterparty too – which, in keeping with the military theme of the event, had the DJ setup enclosed inside a massive front-half of a tank. This picture comes from an interview that we did with MTV whilst there.
